Spin -cutlery
Kesko is a leading Finnish retail chain, who through its stores brings quality to consumers every day by offering high quality products and services at competitive prices. The chain operates approximately 200 stores in Scandinavia, the Baltic countries and Russia.
The K-Citymarket chain wanted to run a premium promotion at the end of 2006. The goal was to reward loyal customers by offering them the opportunity to purchase a valuable product at a lower than regular price.
Logonet carried out a consumer survey to determine the preferred product among K-Citymarket customers. Among a number of options, a Ristomatti Ratia designed Spin cutlery was the clear favorite in the survey. Based on this finding a Spin launch and collection campaign was planned.
Ratia Brands Co naturally designed the cutlery set and Logonet was charged with manufacturing as well as all other campaign components such as creating an eye-catching appearance, mechanics and logistics, as well as creating all supporting materials such as store instruction leaflets, collection coupons, and POP displays. The manufacturing and quality control for the set was handled by Logonet’s Shanghai office, which ensured continuous quality throughout the technically demanding production process.
The campaign was a resounding success. Sales of the cutlery sets during the promotional period exceeded all previous similar campaigns. In addition to sales success, Logonet was praised for its design of the overall campaign appearance, and the seamless functioning of the fulfillment process that was able to react even to urgent demands.
